The day of check in, we get a missed call from the hotel. When we called back they told us that they were completely booked of the Jacuzzi rooms and that they had to downgrade us.
We almost canceled the whole staycation. But since we rarely get to go out like I said we took the downgrade and partial refund.
However that night when we tried to use our credit, the restaurant had no idea what we were talking about and said they couldn't do anything without a literal piece of paper from management, even though the credit was given over the phone.
The regular room was very just that, regular. No bathtub in the bathroom, the toilet flushed really slow and loudly, no view, there was still a few items from the previous guests.
And we are staying there during covid you would think they would clean the room immaculately? So unhappy. Date of stay: August Trip type: Travelled as a couple.

I love the exterior of Excalibur, and the fact that it still exists. It's an iconic Vegas building on an iconic corner of the strip.
However, the highlights really do stop there in this tired and low-rent vibe property. However, cheaper accommodation can be hard to come by on the strip nowadays, so this venue definitely serves its purpose, and I hope it continues into the future, albeit with some more money invested into refreshing the property.

They obviously did not warrant having them As we entered our room, it stunk like smoke in a non-smoking room.
The hall was full of restaurant menus all over the place. The first room was not cleaned, hair was all over the bathroom and also the whirlpool in the room.
We found a few black bugs also by the whirlpool. The chairs was full of stains, who would want to sit in it. Dirty towels and white stains on walls.
The housekeeping supervisor was called to the room by the front desk because she couldn't believe what I was saying, so he called her and had our room changed from to in the Royal Tower NOTHING Royal about this hotel.
